February's Leo Bar Happy Hour is themed around fashion and sustainability, and will feature special collections from emerging designers DAWANG and NUNCHI. Discover new-to-you labels, clothes, and accessories, catch up with old friends, and make new connections as you enjoy a night of cocktails and conversation in Asia Society's Garden Court.
Asia Society Museum will be open during Leo Bar and there are two new exhibitions on view. Admission includes free museum admission and one drink, followed by a cash bar.
Museum exhibitions on display:
Imperial Treasures: Chinese Ceramics of the Yuan and Ming Dynasty from the Mr. and Mrs. John D. Rockefeller 3rd Collection
Yang Fudong: Seven Intellectuals in a Bamboo Forest
Featured Designers:
DAWANG is a New York-based contemporary streetwear design brand that draws influences from East and West. DAWANG is committed to celebrating a modern interpretation of traditional Chinese aesthetics. Chinese-born founder Daisy Wang launched DAWANG in 2018 after taking a class on subcultures at Parsons the New School of Design, realizing that nobody was making the type of elevated Asian streetwear that she wanted to consume—comfortable, ready to wear, and accessible.
NUNCHI is a Korean-American female founded jewelry brand powered by culture, self-expression, and impact. Our mission is rooted in the Korean concept of “Nunchi,” awareness harnessed into actions that promote balance and harmony. We channel our “Nunchi” to embrace a fewer, better philosophy and create meaningful pieces that embody identity and connection. We’re not your average jewelry brand — our product design, authentic storytelling, and creative partnerships champions what is right, unapologetically takes up space, and confidently expresses our identity.
