What to Expect:
Embark on a sensational mushroom adventure for your taste buds with a tasting of many mushroom dishes. We will indulge in a carefully curated lineup of fungal tastes and textures, highlighted by information about each mushroom, and the opportunity to share your thoughts and learn from everyone at the event. The menu will be vegetarian, including butter and cheese.

Eric
Eric has been cooking and distributing food in NYC since 2006. He is a fungal enthusiast, amateur forager, father, and appreciator of the power of food to bring people together. He is thrilled to launch MycoDelights with Brooklyn Mushroom as an exciting new platform to showcase the diverse tastes and textures of the fungal world in a casual setting designed for sharing ideas and learning.

Zeke is an adventurer who believes in non-formal means of education. He is a self-taught computer scientist and mycologist. He believes in non-traditional means of employment. He is currently working on building the Brooklyn Mushroom community and starting a small mycology business. He is working towards being a full-time mycologist and small business owner.

Mi Oh My Farms
Marc de Konkoly Thege is an applied mycologist and a member of the worker-owned cooperative, Mi Oh My Farms. Marc developed a method of producing coffee upcycled from cafe into mushroom substrate using fermentation, which allows for low-tech and large scale resources recovery of coffee grounds to grow mushrooms. Mi Oh My Farms is a Microgreens and mushroom farm based in the Bronx. They offer workshops on how to grow your own Microgreens and mushrooms at home from coffee grounds, even in small urban dwellings.
