AI technology like OpenAI's ChatGPT, Google's Gemini, Github's Copilot, Midjourney and many others will play an increasingly large role in our day-to-day lives. To this end, New York AI Users will host our monthly tech talks & social gathering at Thoughtworks' private space in NoMad. We're very excited to host with Thoughtworks, a global tech consultancy. They will graciously provide free drinks and food for the social portion of this event, and we're excited to take advantage of their top notch AV system for the talks. The space and accommodations will be perfect for our talks and the social that follows.
From the creators and organizers of New York Tech & Beer®, New York AI Users organizes high-quality AI events that both educate and connect AI enthusiasts in the New York area who use or want to use AI to meet their creative, entrepreneurial, and technical aspirations. No technical background is required, only an interest in learning about these tools of the future.
For our September meeting, we will gather at Thoughtworks and we will host:
- Talks on AI:
- For our first talk, we will hear from Reyhan Merekar. Reyhan will complete a practical, low-code demo of the Make automation platform with various use-cases. Reyhan is an AI Architecture Specialist at Accenture with proven mastery in leading clients through their AI/ML transformation, enabling them to operationalize and capture value at scale. His expertise spans Generative AI, MLOps, Data Science, AI/ML Development, and Data Visualization. He is the founder of Digestible AI, a content ecosystem designed to keep everyone up to date on the latest AI happenings and to break down its complexities.
- For our second talk, we will hear from Dev Rishi Khare. In his talk, Dev will explore the process of building a Large Language Model (LLM) product from the ground up. He will cover the fundamentals of setting up a reliable machine learning pipeline and dive into the orchestration and fine-tuning techniques necessary for a robust LLM product. Dev is a passionate technologist who left his big-tech job to focus on building scalable ML pipelines with a mission to democratize LLM access and knowledge. His first product, Curriculo, is a GenAI-assisted resume maker that simplifies tailoring resumes for job applications. Dev's career is marked by his extensive experience in leading high-growth teams and delivering innovative solutions from scratch. His expertise spans microservices architecture, containerization, workflow automation, and data processing, making him a valuable asset in any tech-driven environment.
- After the talks, there will be social time with the attendees and the speakers for the remainder of the evening, with free drinks and food
We’re excited to see you soon!
