(CANCELLED) Qigong in Central Park

Roc d'Ercé in Central Park

Join us for "Qigong" in Central Park.
Qigong brings body, breathing, and mind together to perform movements and hold postures that exercise your entire being. All the movements are done standing The moves are light on the body, so anyone can perform them.
What to Expect:
All you need to bring is yourself. We will find a nice spot in Central Park, where I will lead you in a 1-hour Qiqong Practice followed by a 30-minute "optional" Spirituality talk. This talk provides a safe space where you are invited, not required, to open up, and we can all learn from one another.
I enjoy practicing Qiqong outside because there is something to be said about connecting with nature. The Qiqong practice will include a meditation to start and to end the practice. I like to incorporate many modalities of wellness and healing, such as breathwork and manifestations.
What to Bring:
Wear athletic clothes, bring water, and come prepared with sunscreen if you choose (we will probably be in the sun). There's no need to bring mats or blocks; just yourself. The session will be fully instructed standing up.
More about Qiqong:
Qiqong is a Chinese system of holistic health practice, with roots dating back five thousand years. You can think of it as "Energy Cultivation" - just as you would cultivate a nice agricultural field, think about nourishing and cultivating yourself.
More about Michael:
I'm passionate about bringing people together. This led me down a path of finding myself and creating experiences for others primarily around food, drink, and culture. I've worked in restaurants for 6 years, doing almost every position. I started my own pop up bakery and virtual cooking classes. Burnout is real haha so I'm learning how to cultivate balance in all areas of my life. Currently, I'm working in marketing. There is a lesson in everything.
Spirituality and wellness are areas of interest for me that I continually practice and study just like you would practice anything else.
I've taken a 200 hour Qigong Teacher Training. I'm not an expert, I'm simply showing you some Qigong through my eyes. I encourage you to look beyond this as well.
Happy to meet you!
Michael
