Sadly, the Rubin Museum of Art with its unique Himalayan art collection and multimedia exhibits on Buddhist culture is closing October 6th. They will hold their last free Friday “K2 Lounge Night” at the museum on September 20th, and some of us here for New York Climate Week plan to go for the Rubin's last hurrah.
For these nights, the entire museum is free and the cafe turns into a social bar with a live DJ. Because it’s the last K2, there may be extra activities.
