Join us on Saturday, April 29th for a spring/summer clothing swap at Starta! Freshen up your wardrobe for the new season and meet the trendsetters of sustainable fashion! Gift your clothes a second chance at life by swapping them with someone else. We will be hosting a panel discussion on sustainable fashion followed by a clothing swap.
How does the swap work?
Bring clothes, shoes, handbags, and other accessories that you’re looking to swap Please ensure that your items are clean and intact (e.g., not torn). You can bring female & male clothes
Check in with your items at our welcome desk. You will be given a swap ticket for each item you brought. There’s a limit of 20 items per person.
Check out with your new pieces! If you have any leftover tickets you can use them for our next swap (Fall 2023)
You can bring items anytime between 10AM-2 pm
Where do the leftover items go? We will work with our partners to either donate the items or make sure they are properly recycled.

Madison Palen Michel Cline is the Designer and Founder of Memoir Design Studio. She is a sock designer by day with 8 years of industry experience in apparel and accessories. As a ReMake Ambassador and the Co- Community Manager for Fashion Revolution, Madison loves to promote sustainable and social impact solutions. She is passionate about helping others connect and learn about sustainability through creativity and storytelling.

Kaleigh is a sustainability and systems thinking professional with over 10-years of career experience and expertise in architecture, sustainability, design, manufacturing, textile & apparel. She has been based in New York City since 2018, supporting enterprises to execute comprehensive sustainability strategies and fashion programs.
As Business Development Director at Positive Materials, Kaleigh’s role is to lead the expansion of the company’s global network, connecting brands with innovative and regenerative textile solutions.

Kelly Peaks is a dedicated professional specializing in environmental policy, currently serving as an Operations Assistant at the U.S. Impact Investing Alliance. With a fervent passion for the intersection of climate and human rights, Kelly is also deeply committed to sustainability.

Sergey is a serial entrepreneur hailing from Belarus, who has made a name for himself in various industries.
As the founder of a European real estate development company, Sergey has achieved significant success with a 2021 turnover of $30 million, primarily focusing on retail spaces and shopping centers.
In 2018, Sergey expanded his entrepreneurial reach by founding Apace.one, a tech company that developed a unique software to simplify the real estate development process.
