The Wall Street Sustainability Forum for Young Professionals is an educational and networking initiative for early career professionals in leading financial institutions across Wall Street with the goal of mainstreaming climate considerations into finance. The objective of the Forum is to increase the climate awareness and capacity of young professionals in the world’s main financial centers and provide a space for them to network, develop soft skills, and advance professionally.
The Wall Street Forum is the go-to place for young professionals on Wall Street and other major financial centers who want to actively green the financial sector. The Forum comprises about 150 young professionals from prominent Wall Street institutions in HSBC, Alliance Bernstein, Apax Partners, BlackRock, Blackstone, Citi, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan, Morgan Stanley, Natixis, and Prudential.
The event will be a held on the theme ‘Towards a Paradigm Shift in Climate Finance: Wall Street’s Role’ and include:
- A high-level keynote address on climate finance objectives and policy Davos-style conversations with a focus on catalyzing capital markets, including through MDBs
- A multistakeholder panel discussion on the climate impacts and opportunities for the financial sector
