Elisa Canum brings nearly 30 years of experience in finance, business development & sales, marketing and investing. Elisa thrives in and appreciates fast-paced environments and building new markets. While finance has been a common thread throughout her career, she credits her success to relationship building in and outside companies.

For the last 8 years she has focused exclusively on fundraising for commercial real estate investments. As the Vice President of Investor Success and Business Development, Elisa was responsible for all aspects of equity capital raising and investor community management for the Peak Group. She led efforts to rebrand the property management division and layered technology across the platform to automate investor acquisition. Elisa is a former Managing Director of CrowdStreet, a very successful and well-known online equity syndication marketplace, where she developed a book of business across the country with best-in-class real estate firms to source CRE investment opportunities.

Prior to joining CrowdStreet, Elisa spent more than a decade consulting business owners across a variety of industries to optimize business performance to achieve the highest valuation in the sale of their company. She enjoys speaking with C-Suite executives on business plans and strategies in an effort to uncover what drives value and makes them unique.
She has lived in Portland, Oregon for nearly 20 years with her 4 kids, enjoys playing soccer, cooking, and listening to How I Built This, a podcast produced by Guy Raz.
