As a mentor, you'll:

  • Guide and inspire ambitious students breaking into venture capital
  • Join an exclusive community of VC leaders committed to building a more inclusive NYC
  • Share your journey and insights through engaging sessions from June - August 2025

What we're looking for:

  • Commitment to mentor 2-5 students through structured sessions and AMAs
  • Passion for developing talent and giving back to the NYC tech community
  • Ability to participate in 3 in-person events in Manhattan and 1 squad session over zoom

CUNY IAR

CUNY IAR leads industrial research collaborations at the City University of New York (CUNY). CUNY IAR is recognized as the nation’s leader in training underserved entrepreneurs and is committed to expanding its reach in a fair and equitable manner. CUNY IAR serves as the CUNY-leadership of the NSF-supported New York I-Corps Hub which trains research and technology teams across all CUNY campuses. IAR also awards faculty and student teams seed funding to develop prototypes. CUNY IAR coordinates all of the CUNY-campus based incubator and accelerator programs. These incubators attract hundreds of students with innovative ideas.
